The Person Behind Rags&Fluff
Meet Jenna!
Hi there! I’m Jenna, the face behind Rags&Fluff. While my life pretty much revolves around my cats and running the cattery, I also work part-time as a caregiver for the elderly, which is so rewarding. My husband, Manuel, works as a data analyst at a well-known tech company and plays a big role in helping with the cattery. Plus, I’ve got a small, amazing team behind the scenes who help keep everything running smoothly.
I grew up in a family deeply involved in breeding high-quality dogs, where we were all about following breed standards. Watching my family’s dedication to raising healthy, happy animals stuck with me and sparked my own passion for responsible breeding. But growing up in a dog-centered household, I always felt like something was missing.
After college, I adopted my first cat, Stunner, I had no idea what a life-changer he’d be. His snuggles, love, and quirky personality brought me so much happiness and really helped improve my mental health. When I did a genetic test, I found out he was more than half Ragdoll—and I was hooked.
That’s when I started diving into everything Ragdoll. I quickly realized how hard it was to find Ragdolls with truly social, cuddly temperaments from breeders who also treated their parent cats with the same love and care as the kittens. I knew I wanted to change that.
Ragdolls brought so much joy and peace into my life, and I wanted to share that with others. That’s how Rags&Fluff came to be. My goal has always been simple: to raise healthy kittens with amazing personalities who can bring the same happiness to their families that Stunner brought to me.
Running a cattery has been an incredible ride—there have been challenges for sure, but also so many rewards. For me, it’s not just about raising beautiful cats. It’s about sharing the love and companionship these cats bring into people’s lives.
There’s nothing I love more than helping someone find their perfect kitty. Even if it’s not one of my kittens, I’m always happy to help people discover the magic of Ragdolls. I’m so grateful to have been able to change so many lives through my cats, and I can’t wait to keep doing this for as long as I can.

Our Ragdolls
Preparation for our kittens begins long before they’re even born, starting with exceptional lineage. Health is our top priority, and we search far and wide for Ragdolls with healthy bloodlines, ideal temperaments, and, of course, stunning looks.
Our Ragdolls come from thoroughly health-tested lines, free of FIP, with no traces of HCM in their ancestry. We are dedicated to following the Ragdoll breed standard and aim to produce competitive, show-quality Ragdolls that showcase the breed’s beauty and charm.
To ensure our kittens are as healthy as they are beautiful, we prioritize genetic diversity by carefully selecting parents who are not inbred. Many of our cats come from international lines, enriching our program and creating strong, vibrant offspring.

Our Story
As a TICA and CFA-registered cattery, we adhere to rigorous standards to ensure the highest quality care and breeding practices. All our cats and kittens are raised in our home, and each one is a cherished member of our family. We began breeding Ragdolls in the Bay Area, California, but have since relocated just outside of Sacramento. Breeding exceptional kittens isn’t my work—it’s my passion. I’m fully committed to providing every adopter with a wonderful experience and strive for 100% satisfaction.
At our cattery, we believe that the temperament of Ragdolls is what makes them so incredibly special. That’s why we’re dedicated to raising kittens with the sweetest personalities. Our goal is to ensure our Ragdolls are social, snuggly, and deeply people-oriented—perfect companions for any family.

Adoption Process
I work hard to make the adoption process as seamless as possible, providing adopters with all the knowledge and tools they need for a smooth transition when welcoming their new kitten into their home.
Our kittens are raised with everything they need to thrive in their new environment and live long, happy, and healthy lives. We go above and beyond to ensure every kitten is an exceptional example of the Ragdoll breed, offering even more than a well rounded kitten.
Because we’re so selective in producing the very best, we only raise a limited number of Ragdoll kittens each year. This allows us to give every kitten the love, care, and attention they deserve.
